Rudbeckia A Wonderful Perennial Flower

I just love Rudbeckia flowers I just don't love their common name.    Instead of calling them Black Eyed Susans I propose to change the common name to dark eyed susans!  They are such a hardy bright and sunny flower who can resist them.  You just have to smile when you see them.
They can take over a planting bed, so you need to make sure you plant them where they have lots of room to spread their seeds and multiply!!!  They only require lots of sunshine to grow and they are so hardy that they can life in very dry soil although like most flowers they prefer a bit of moisture they won't survive in desert conditions.  But for lots of color at the end of summer you can't beat the bright sunny "Dark Eyed Susans"!!!
