Parkinsons Law Of Time

Parkinson came up with the law that work expands so as to fill the time available for it's completion.

Way back when I was younger I asked someone how they managed to acomplish all that they had and they told me about Parkinson's law.  I thought it was an amazing rule, so I set out to follow it's principle and when I felt that I didn't have enough time to accomplish something I would remind myself of Parkinson's Law.
But over the years I have learned that I have tried to fit too much into the time allotted and the quality of my work has suffered for it.   Parkinson doesn't mention the quality of the work.  I have found that trying to keep work and fun balanced is the best goal.  I loved the analogy that work could  expand?   Parkinson's law is so true, but as American's we are too focused on work so I think I will create a new law about how fun should fill up more of our time.  But then again if we love our work isn't that having fun?
